Safety Recalls in U.S.
On
21 January 2010, Toyota Motors Sales (TMS),
United States released a media statement of
a safety recall campaign involving 2.3 million
vehicles.
Toyota’s Accelerator Recall Affects the
following Vehicles made in the United States:
2009-2010 RAV4, the 2009-2010 Corolla, the 2009-2010
Matrix, the 2005-2010 Avalon, the 2007-2010
Camry, the 2010 Highlander, the 2007-2010 Tundra
and the 2008-2010 Sequioia.
We would like to confirm to you that all Toyota
models sold through your company are not affected
by this recall exercise. The accelerator pedal
components of the affected models used in the
US market are different from the Toyota models
sold in your country by your company.
We would like to advise that there is no cause
for concern on this matter.
