The
Aux Lyons Combined School now has an up-to-date Student Support
Centre, thanks to some benefactors, including the Lions Club
of Castries. The club donated some much needed items
e.g. books, educational equipment and a filing cabinet. The
driving force behind the renovated room is Special Needs teacher
Digna George.
What
happened to be a tense week of work coupled with dreams that
were just as tense, thus resulting in calm moments? I
am trying to understand the rational behind this because a
bad dream does not mean you are going to have a bad day but
if your dreams are mostly straight like mine then you’ve
got a lot of crying to do for the rest of your life.
Usually
when our once impregnable West Indies cricket team is wallowing
in defeat after defeat, which by all accounts is definitely
unbearable to the people of this wonderful Caribbean Region
and else where, I endeavour to acquire a formula
which on a grand scale will probably assist me to overcome
the disenchantment that engulfs my body.
The
first Courts Ready Finance Fun Day was executed in true Courts
style and represented a real fun day of activities, in the
community of Dennery! The event on Saturday July
26th came under the caption of, “Responsible, Affordable
credit at Courts.” The caravan consisted of a team of
highly-spirited Courts staff, (including experienced credit
advisors) face painters,
