Micoud Primary
Visits the IVCC
Nineteen
(19) Grade Four students of Micoud Primary school,
accompanied by two teachers, visited the Institute
of Venezuela for Culture and Cooperation (IVCC)
on Friday 26th February 2010, as part of the
Institution’s continued school outreach
programme.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity
to view the documentary ‘Tocar y Luchar’
(To Play ad To Fight), the story of the birth
and success of the Venezuelan National Children
and Youth Orchestra and to experience a bit
of Venezuelan culture, all of them having received
a perinola, a Venezuelan traditional toy, which
they seemed to have enjoyed immensely.
