Clearing the Mess
Anderson Peter Stanley Desir, Castries, St. Lucia

Blow wind, blow.
Churn the passive seas of popular tolerance
Into angry waves of discontent.
Sweep the furry clouds of doubtful
Intent and squeeze their watery content into delugean rain.

Blow into the walls of mind engulfed
By crack, cracked minds that nurture moss,
Pollutants and wind that fester and dement
And corrupt and maim and kill and propel
Tender youth into PRODIGALITY
And forced acceptance of the organsm
Of peddled trash.

Blow, raging wind and sweep the poison
Clear, and engorge it into the depths
Of Ocean mouth.

Let the torrents wash the garbage
You unsettle
And render the terrains of placid minds
Fertile, and fearful of trash
And another storm.
