Board
members presented the Prime Minister with their
plans for the future development of the FRC
which serves a wide clientele of local and foreign
students and researchers among others.
The PM expressed his continuing support for
the important work of the Centre which is the
main organizer of the annual Creole Heritage
Month and Jounen Kwéyòl. A number
of the publications and products of the Centre
was presented to the St. Lucian leader at the
end of the two and a half hour visit during
which the Prime Minister committed himself and
the government to supporting the work and agenda
of FRC which have, at the core, programmes of
cultural education, research and documentation.
