Grassed by La Pointe

Last Sunday, buoyed by a very vocal crowd, La Pointe 4-H Club defeated their longstanding rivals Grass Street by 22 runs in the final of the 2007 Caribbean Sports Supplies-sponsored Mon Repos Twenty20 Cricket Competition played at the Wenn Playing Field.
Having won the toss, Grass Street decided to take to the field, looking to national players Darren Sammy (also a West Indies all-rounder), and Gairy Mathurin.

13 finals reached, but no medals

The 2007 CARIFTA Swimming Championships concluded for the 12 member Saint Lucia National Swim Team with two National Records and four Age group Records set.
Hosted at the Aquatic Centre in Kingston Jamaica, the games had 15 teams from the Caribbean in fierce competition from April 7th to the 10th.
The overall winners were The French Antilles with 998.5 points, followed by Bahamas (943.5 points)
