The
St Lucia Labour Party continues to maintain that even after
the number of statements which Minister Richard Frederick
made in the House of Assembly and on the public media last
week, he still has not told the St Lucian people
the truth about who gave permission to build at Piton Mitan.
Mr. Frederick well knows the difference between permission
to buy land,

Yesterday
marked the beginning of yet another school year for thousands
of the nation’s schoolchildren. Like many of
us who have since exited the school life, some of those students
got the opportunity to conceitedly show off their new uniforms
and school supplies. For others, last school term’s
uniforms will have to suffice whilst the truly unfortunate
ones may have to wait,

The
feast of La Woz was celebrated last Saturday. Groups from
around the country and visitors from three of the French speaking
islands were in St. Lucia to celebrate. Among the
audience were visitors from the US and from around the English
speaking Caribbean, who neither spoke nor understood patois.
