Harper to address young aspiring Cricketers today
Former
West Indies all rounder and vice captain, Roger Harper will
today Saturday 29th March 2008 deliver the feature address
at the launching of the Institute of Cricket Studies at the
Beausejour Cricket Ground. Harper,
who played 25 test matches, and 105 One-day internationals
for the West Indies, collected some 567 first class wickets,

Cricketers Prepare for Day and Night Showpiece
The
Ministry of Education in collaboration with the St. Lucia
National Cricket Association, Bank of Nova Scotia, West Indies
Cricket Board, Paradise Springs and Peter and Company will
be hosting a Kiddy Cricket Extravaganza on Wednesday 2nd April
2008 at the Beauchamp Playing Field situated in Micoud from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Medals and National Records for Danielle and Siona in Aruba
On
the first day of competition in Aruba at the XXIII CARIFTA
Swimming Championships, Thursday 27th April 2008, the 2007
Junior Female athlete of the year Siona Huxley and her compatriot
Danielle Beaubrun captured St. Lucia’s first 2008 CARIFTA
swimming medals. Huxley powered her way to win Silver
in the women’s 13-14 category 50M Back,

On
Easter Monday March 24th 2008 the Rex Resorts Beach was the
home of the first ever annual “Climax Beach Volleyball
Championship”. Climax, a herbal power drink
with its tag line –“Stimulate your body and mind”

The
2008 Digicel Junior OECS Squash championships served off last
evening at the St. Lucia Yacht Club at 5.00 pm. This
year four countries are participating namely St. Vincent and
the Grenadines, the British Virgin Islands the Commonwealth
of Dominica and host nation St. Lucia. Participants in this
