weeks ago the print media in Trinidad and Tobago reporting
on a legal matter highlighted a scientific first.
It was the first time in the history of the twin island republic
that an accused was set free using DNA evidence. The accused
had spent over four years languishing in detention, until
during his court matter he was set free by a High Court Judge,

Is
Saint Lucia A Laughing Stock of the World?
On
returning home from England over the weekend I was rather
anxious to know the recent news; so I quickly rushed
out to buy the Voice and to my amazement an article caught

Mediocrity?
For
many years now I have tried to fathom what is at the heart
of the St. Lucian character. Why do we seem at times
so eager to strive for excellence and yet are so quick to
embrace mediocrity? That question was heightened
when, some thirty odd years ago a physically and mentally
challenged man from whom no word was discernible was voted

Can
Hillary Clinton overcome the Obama roll?
The
majority and hierarchy of the Democratic Party certainly never
expected Obama to represent any real threat to Mrs Clinton,
but for whatever reason, the cards have turned and the promised
land for Clinton appears to be fading in the distance.
Politics is a very tricky and treacherous game and we are
fully aware that miracles never cease,
