there was not the usually packed stadium like in previous
years may be due to the strict security measures instituted
by the organizers. The Royal St. Lucia Police force,
in a no nonsense mood held a firm grip on movement in and
out of the stadium, and despite their limited resources and
a few hiccups performed creditably.

of St. Lucia finest Bodybuilding icons of years past Earl
Sandiford made his debut on the local body-building scene
in 1965 at Clarke’s Cinema where he competed in the
senior ‘ Mr. St. Lucia’ contest. During
1966 and 1967, he competed in every local contest and his
breakthrough came in 1968 when he captured the ‘Mr.
Physique,’ ‘ Mr. St. Lucia,’

was Football at its very best in front of another appreciative
handful of spectators as home team Lancers FC finally registered
their first points in the Michael Fedee Memorial Castries
Big Four on Saturday 15th March 2008 at the Vigie Playing
field. After losing three games in a row Lancers
FC entered the match determined to restore their lost pride,
