& W Installs First Eco-Friendly Cellular Tower in St Lucia
A
history making moment was created by Cable and Wireless after
the company installed the first ever environmentally-friendly
Palm Tree Cellular Tower in St Lucia. The Mono Palm
as it is called is shaped like a palm tree with a trunk and
palm fronds at the top. The palm fronds are made of plastic
and metal and they flutter in the wind.

Affairs and National Security, Hon. Stephenson King met Tuesday
March 11, with the Central Executive of the Civil Service
Association (CSA), under the leadership of its president Joseph
Dosserie. The parties discussed a number of pertinent
matters. . 
St.
Lucia month launches in U.K.
The
St. Lucia Tourist Board’s office based in the United
Kingdom launched the annual “St. Lucia Month”
at an event called Unite Caribbean in London. The
event, co-sponsored by the Board, is targeted at UK buyers
and was attended by over 100 delegates. St. Lucia Month is
held annually to ensure travel agents, tour operators, airline
and other industry partners,
