St. Lucia National Domino Association on Saturday 8th March
2008 held its finals in a series of qualifying matches in
the Bounty Rum 3 Hand Competition played at Sidney’s
Place on Jeremie Street. Saturday’s event
which started 1 hour 15 minutes after the stipulated 7: 00
pm start saw well over 40 enthusiastic domino players registering,

of Roseau and its environs. Some 53 aspiring 13 and
under athletes participated in a number of basic skills relative
to the discipline of Track and Field. At Saturday’s
session for example the young athletes were taught,

fifth Annual National Senior Games slated for March 24th at
the George Odlum National Stadium, on Thursday 6th March 2008
received the much needed financial support from the Bank of
St. Lucia so as to an able the organizers to offset some of
the costs for this year’s event. Addressing
the gathering present at the cheque handing ceremony was,

Vintage Netball on Saturday 15th March, at the Vigie Multi
Purpose Sports Complex. Known for its unpredictable
playing conditions when comes to playing a final it is expected
that patrons will keep their fingers crossed for the 2008
Super J Vintage Netball Tournament final, as GI Gems and Golden
Girls square off in the grand finals scheduled for 5:30 pm.
