Secretariat supports shorter time for HIV test results
The
OECS Secretariat, in collaboration with OECS Member countries
is considering approaches towards further facilitating rapid
testing for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS.
The task is for countries to bolster their testing and counseling
services whereby pre-test counseling, the actual HIV Test,
post-test counseling and the provision of test results,

Consolidated
Foods Limited (CFL) operators of Super J supermarkets today
initiated a voluntary recall of Hunts Spaghetti Sauce Meat
with batch codes 2102730600 and 21027299. This action
is being taken following information from ConAgra (suppliers
of Hunt’s products) that nearly 145 million pounds of
beef products from beef processor,

is taking heed of the outcry of farmers with regards Praedial
Larceny. However, while there is seemingly much concern
about the issue which has spread its ugly tentacles full bloom,
Praedial Larceny is not a new problem. It has apparently become

funding to help measure environmental changes in the Caribbean
The
lack of basic environmental statistics and indicators is considered
a major problem in the Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
of the Caribbean. In order to address this problem,
a regional workshop at the Sunset Jamaica Grande, Ocho Rios,
Jamaica, from 10 to 12 March 2008 will be co-hosted by the
Global Environment Facility through two projects-:
