The George F.L. Charles Foundation in association with the Faculty of Law of the University of the West Indies reminds the public of the important public discussion on the EU-CARIFORUM Economic Partnership Agreement. On making a difference

As a child I was always able to tell the differences in the people around me. I think most children can do this especially when those differences are as stark as say between a man and a woman or a boy and a girl. I learnt later that physical appearances are important points of identification and are to be taken seriously especially where the society dictates that this should be done.

The Music Awards — an Historic Occasion

That event had been long overdue in Saint Lucia. The arrangements were beautifully and professionally planned; it was in their execution that there were some short-falls. Mr Broughton and his team were brought to St Lucia for a real reason. To instil some discipline and assist the St Lucia Police Force to become more official in their duties.

Obama and Clinton lock horns

The race for the Democratic nomination continues unabated and too close to call, but issues pursued by both Candidates, though similar in some respects, remained loaded with political spin. Obama is extremely personable with the gift of the gab and has struck a note of CHANGE AT THE HELM which a vast number of Americans appreciate,

Yachting Sector Support

Your article in the “Voice” of 26th Feb. on yachting sector support may have caused some of your readers to draw conclusions which may be at variance with the current state of the industry. The following will hopefully provide some clarification. Following the submission of the ECLAC report (2002) on sustainable marine based tourism (yachting),
