The
St. Lucia Banana Corporation (SLBC) is now in a position where
it can take no action nor can it make any progress, policy
wise following the resignation en mass Thursday of its Board
of Directors headed by Eustace Monrose. Neither can
the other Board of Directors that was elected at an extraordinary
meeting of shareholders last month in La Clery,

campaign to reduce the incidence of violent crime involving
the use of edged weapons has begun throughout the island.
Over recent weeks the use of edged weapons in the
commission of serious crimes of violence has increased, resulting
in a number of homicides and assaults causing grievous and

France. Hafiz Razali, who’s been employed with
the resort for a little less than two years though highly
trained, joined pastry chefs from around the world in Belfort
France recently where they sharpened their skills in the discipline.

What
was supposed to be a happy festive season turned into a nightmare
for Police. According to reports the island has experienced
its twentieth homicide which occurred during the night of
the Caribbean Soca Monarch competition at the Mindoo Phillip
Park in Marchand Castries. The latest victim, identified as
