International Piano Workshop conducted at the St Lucia School
of Music by the distinguished Guyanese concert pianist and
piano professor, Dr Ray Luck. The four-day workshop

Carnival
2008 was great for revelers. They embraced the extended route
and danced, pranced and humped in true carnival style. There
was more than adequate music and drinks and most important
minimal body coverage. “Too much clothes” is a
definite no, no! as far as our female revelers are concerned
while the men were mostly covered from the blazing sun.

La Raye gets new road for Carnival
While
most Saint Lucians flocked to Castries for the carnival last-lap
on Tuesday, workers at a local construction company descended
on a quiet village of Anse La Raye to do what they do best.
Workers from Construction and Industrial Equipment (CIE) Ltd
flocked to the village on Carnival Tuesday, not to ‘Play
Mas’ but to pave an important artery off the main road.
