hope for Banana Sector
The
formal launching of the Banana Production & Management
Unit (BPMU) by the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries
& Forestry took place on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008. Agriculture
Minister Ezechiel Joseph, in declaring the BPMU formally open,
urged banana farmers to put their best foot forward for the
survival and further development of this all-important economic
sector.

it was revealed that the Red mite insect has been sited in
