NDC Stages mas’ on the pier

The island’s premiere duty free shopping facility – Duty Free Pointe Seraphine (DFPS) will come alive with the sights and sounds of carnival when its stages the first ever Mas’ on the Pier. The initiative is the brainchild of Duty Free Pointe Seraphine’s parent company - the National Development Corporation (NDC), and will run from 10am to 5pm on Thursday July 17, 2008.

Gros Islet Carnival

This year’s theme is Sports Fusion Honouring our Greats. With a tribute to the late Northern United Football Team Coach -Patrick ‘Pattaco’ Phillip, to the late Rocky ‘Crazy’ Phillip and to Gros-Islet’s former Windward Islands Captain- John Eugene. The costumes included sections of netballers, footballers, cricketers, cheerleaders, doctors, nurses, policemen and women.
