Bank
of Saint Lucia Limited took banking to a whole new level on
Saturday, 12th July when they unveiled the newly renovated
Gros Islet Branch. This is the continuing of a commitment
made in 2003 i.e. “Changing the face of banking”
The branch which was first opened in 1992 will become the
standard for all branches in the near future.
The
Board of Directors of the Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications
Authority (ECTEL) is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr. Embert Charles as Managing Director of ECTEL. The
appointment was made by the ECTEL Council of Ministers in
accordance with the provisions of Article 9 of the Treaty
establishing ECTEL,

FRIDAY, July 11, 2008 LIAT 1974 Ltd. temporarily suspended
its commercial arrangements with Carib Aviation. As
a consequence, services operated on behalf of LIAT or operated
by Carib as ‘code-share’ services with LIAT to
Anguilla, Antigua, Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Nevis Montserrat
and St. Vincent may be affected. LIAT, which has had an excellent
