 Carnival
is bacchanal, carnival is noise and music and revelry. Carnival
is delight taken in songs comprised of ridiculous and sometimes
garbled lyrics which mean absolutely nothing but which bring
wide smiles and guffaws of laughter. Who knows or cares about
the number of letters in “The Viking” alphabet
or whether he speaks any phrases other than Raa! Raa! Raa!

Rick Wayne and Flavia Cherry debated what appeared
to be the collapse of important organizations because of “Bad
Governnace”, the responsibilty of a government to effectively
educate its people and whether it was in a government’s
interest to educate its people. Evidence was provided from

needed for crossing pedestrians
An
urgent call to the powers that be. A pedestrian crossing or
traffic lights are an absolutely necessity on the Gros Islet
highway across from the JQ’s mall. Crossing
in that area to get to the bus stop is extremely dangerous.
The sidewalk on the JQ’s side is a prime spot for vendors
and when coconuts are being sold, patrons park their cars
on the bus stop,
