and Grammar
That
the abuse and misuse of the English language extends even
to the highest office of the land was evident in this weekend’s
newspapers, which carried a supplement from the Government
Information Service (GIS)/Office of the Prime Minister. Interestingly
however, the obvious errors in the text, which was quite loose
and casual for a government communiqué,

The
carnival season is now in full swing and more often than not
the long periods of time spent away from home especially during
the late evening and nights present us no alternative but
to “eat out”. When hunger strikes many
of us buy from the first side walk food vendor without taking
the time to inspect what we may be ingesting.

THE SAVIOUR
Throughout
the pages of recorded history, there is only one instance
of a person giving a command by word of mouth and being instantly
obeyed. In Matthew 8: 24 28, one reads :”Without
warning, a violent storm came upon the lake,and the boat began
to be swamped by the waves. Jesus was sleeping soundly; so
they made their way towards Him and woke Him. 
Happy
People
It is no secret that children are by far, the happiest people
on Earth. I like to call them happy people. Somehow,
when I observe them just happily doing their thing, the phrase
has a way of slipping into my mind. “Look at them,”
I think, “Happy people.” Of course, they are not
the only happy people around. There are many very content
adults out there,
