Agriculture
Meltdown…
Since
my article in the Voice newspaper about six weeks or so ago
entitled ‘FOOD INSECURITY, AN OPPORTUNITY NOT A CRISIS’
I have been stopped several times to be told by those
who read that piece that they liked the slant and positive
direction which it took. One in particular
whose background and training is in agriculture and whose
judgement is often not without merit,
The
stark comparisons of Communism, Socialism and Capitalism
In
the latter half of the 1960’s, I became intrigued by
the various effects and cultural activities and consequences
of communism, socialism, capitalism and the most likely direction

some sectors, including that which is “private”.
Now we come to the thorny issue,
Jah
Beach is mine
I may be wrong, but in passing I heard a story about someone
seeking permission to open an amusement park in the vicinity
of Pigeon Island National Park… just off the beach,

to have spoken to the Prime Minister and was awaiting a response.
The park, it was stated, would be to accommodate disabled
children;
Raining
Cats and Dogs
My
husband and I recently spent a holiday in St.Lucia and also
Antigua. Everything about the vacation was perfect, the friendly
courteous people, food, scenery etc. except for one aspect.
This was the large number of feral dogs and cats
and also sheep on the islands. Every meal time a number of
very hungry cats would come into the hotel dining area looking
for food,
