Diversifies product Base
 The
Windward Islands Banana Development and exporting Company
Ltd.,(WIBDECO) last week announced its decision to diversify
its product base and help in the diversification and modernization
of the agricultural sector in the Windward Islands.

Vincent and the Grenadines made the announcement,

the ECSE, shares of Cable & Wireless St Kitts & Nevis,
ECFH, S L Horsford, LUCELEC and Trinidad Cement Limited traded,
all holding firm on their respective previous market close
prices. Also, the Government of St Vincent &
the Grenadines’ 91-day, $16 million Treasury bill issue,
was oversubscribed by more than EC$8M, resulting in a discount
rate of 5.776 per cent.

Lucia’s financial service center is vulnerable to money
laundering. So said the 2008 International Narcotics Control
Strategy Report, which is an annual report by the Department
of State of the United States of America. The report
