Goes On Trial For Murder
A
woman who has been on remand for the last three years at the
Bordelais Correctional Facility went on trial before a twelve
member jury Monday. The woman who is accused of murdering
an elderly man one Sunday in January 2005 is represented by
lawyer Stanly Felix. Appearing for the State is Director of

Navy ship coming as part of July 4th celebrations
The
United States Embassy to the Eastern Caribbean will celebrate
July 4th in grand style on Friday in Castries. Ambassador
Mary Ourisman will host a reception aboard the USS Simpson,
a fast frigate especially in St. Lucia for the occasion. The
reception, which begins at 5p.m., will see specially invited
guests being entertained by a jazz band,
