They came to walk and that they did in spite of the 1-hour late arrival of the police out – riders, but when they did get started outside Alex Walcott Methodist School on lower Darling Road the designated route was hardly challenging for the 1,700 plus students who on Thursday 24th January 2008 downed their pens and books and walked for a better healthy life style.
