All
in all, it would fall to the judge, in the exercise of his
discretion, to direct the jury to the appropriate circumstances
when it is “proper” to draw such inferences, or
to accept or reject comments from the prosecution to do so.
Also relevant to the task is to direct the jury on
any evidence or argument tendered by the defence, which rebuts
or renders the drawing of inferences improper. 
The
Political Animal
What
type of person can we describe a Politician to be? This
is a very difficult question to answer as they come in all
shapes and sizes and the true politician seems to able to
con the pants off of the electorate with a package of lies.
Many lie through their teeth in order to be elected into office.
In theory all they are concerned about is a few years in power
to fill their pockets. 
The
delights of Guava Season
When
times are hard financially people look for someone or something
to blame. More often than not it’s the government or
in present times the blame shifts to the high price of oil.
Instead of saying that things are difficult financially
and leave it at that, we use the ubiquitous little guava to
describe a situation which is so removed,

Fellow St. Lucians
My
fellow St. Lucians, the time has come for us to close ranks,
not with the politicians, but with ourselves. It
is time for us to put politics and the politicians behind
us and work together to make St. Lucia a better place for
us and our children. Please stop this political
tribalism that seems to be part of our culture. While we champion
the cause of politicians,
