records nine-month pre-tax earnings of US$145 million

J. July, Group Chairman, RBTT Financial Holdings Limited,
has announced that the Group recorded pre-tax earnings of
US$145 million for the nine-month period ended December 31,
2007, an improvement of 5% over the corresponding period last
year. The profit attributable to shareholders of
US$107 million was affected by a higher effective Group tax
rate,

construction firm makes $20M upgrade to increase capacity
CIE
and RG Quarry, the island’s fastest growing construction
concerns, have begun the New Year with a multi-million-dollar
line of new equipment that places them on the front line to
meet the challenges of 2008 and beyond. The company,
which employs hundreds of workers at its various sites island-wide,
late last year invested over EC $20 million (approximately
US $8 million) to purchase a new line of modern equipment
to add to its existing extensive range.
