Another act of unconcealed criminal shooting took place in broad daylight on the streets of downtown Castries Wednesday resulting in one man coming close to losing his life, citizens screaming for police presence in town and wondering about the stop the violence initiative that was initiated primarily to end that type of violence on the streets of the city.

C&W Lowers Payphone Call Charge

Cable & Wireless has reduced the charge for a call from a C&W public payphone to a mobile phone by 50%. Previously, the minimum charge for a call from a C&W payphone to a mobile phone was $1:00.
