held this week, Cameron Polius of Laborie was declared the

post mortem examination was performed on the body of William
Lubrun alias “Bram” age 41 of Ti Rocher, Micoud
on Monday the 14th of January, 2008 and the result revealed
death by Strangulation. On Monday the 7th of January
2008, about 8:30am, Lubrun was found hanging with a rope tied
around his neck from a grapefruit tree on Mahaut Estate, Micoud.

Robbery on Waterworks Road
Police
are on the lookout for a robber who relieved a fifteen year
old student of his mobile telephone on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, the young man still in school uniform
was travelling in the vicinity of lower Water Works road when
a man with a scar on his face attacked him with what appeared
to be a kitchen knife and took his cell phone.

Intransitory Fee Bad for Business
Tourism
Minister Allen Chastanet says that the recent imposition of
an intransitory fee by the Government of Barbados is significantly
impacting business in the Eastern Caribbean. The
Minister was speaking to CMC at Caribbean Marketplace 2008
on the factors hindering intra-regional travel which hoteliers
complain remains on the decline in the sub-region,
