As
the curtains came down on a weekend of exciting cricket four
nations Tournament played at the BCG it was not good news
for the many St. Lucian cricket enthusiasts present, as
Antigua maintained their winning ways versus St. Lucia in
Twenty20 cricket. St Lucia won the toss and sent the Antiguans
to bat first. They were immediately in trouble as Sylvester
Joseph was the first to go,

Athletes Prepare for Hectic Season
The
St. Lucia Athletics Association on Saturday 12th January held
one in a series of Developmental Meets ahead of another hectic
season for track and fields athletes at the Castries Comprehensive
Secondary School. In Saturday’s event - though
the turn out was minimal - the athletes present certainly
gave a good account of themselves,

Vigie
Field between a Hard Rock and Final Decision
The
Ministry of Youth and Sports along with the Venezuelan Government,
in a joint corporation venture for sports, have agreed to
build a pavilion and stands for the Vigie Playing Field. The
project which also entails grassing of the playing area to
bring it to a suitable standard for competitive sporting activities
which will benefit sportsmen and women within the city of
Castries,
