Well
it appears that things are starting to heat up in our own
little world capsule of sports as some of the artifacts in
that antique titanium treasure chest truly indicate how our
sportsmen and women performed in spite of the many challenges
in 2007. We all need to be proud and take a bow.
The Village of Laborie known for its staging of
St. Lucia Jazz at the Rudy John Park,
Local
Track and Field athletes have surpassed all other sporting
disciplines in St. Lucia, and have had athletes attending
universities in the United States of America for the past
25 years or more. As sporting enthusiasts following
the sport of Track and Field some names by now would have
been etched in form your memories,

Magic Basketball is Back
The
Mr. Magic Basketball Academy wishes to inform all parents
of the continuation of the Kiddies Basketball Programme for
2008. Parents wishing to enroll their children may call Morgan
“Mr. Magic” George at 718-7265. All
clinics and workshops are being held at the Sir Ira Simmons
Secondary School situated at Vide Boutielle every Saturday
commencing from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Be a good Sport in
2008.
