In
the space of one year and two months the United Workers Party
won a general elections; experienced the death of
their political leader and prime minister; had brushes with
the law via their ministers; fired one of their ministers
from the Cabinet of Ministers; won a bye-election in Micoud
North; give the impression that their ministers are united
behind one leader, 
Here
today, gone tomorrow?
Kudos
to the CCC for beautifying the vicinity around Place Bideau,
especially the passage-way adjacent to the former Government
Printery. That area has not only been an eyesore
for years but literally an obstacle course for pedestrians.
The new sparkling white picket fence facing A.F.Valmont on
Laborie Street is very attractive…for now, 
Who
is checking our graves?
It
is very appalling to see how our dearly departed ones are
placed in their resting place in some of our cemeteries in
and around Saint. Lucia. I say this with no holds
barred. Because sooner or later we will have a situation on
our hands when HUNGRY DOGS will be in a position to dig up
any grave. It is policy and Government law through Health
standards,

The
Saint Lucia Labour Party is deeply disturbed that despite
the exposures on the NDC by the Star Newspaper, and
indeed its own call for the removal of Nicholas John as chairman
of NDC, the Stephenson King Government has elected to do nothing
about the situation. The government is behaving in the manner
it knows best: business as usual, ignore the Opposition.
