Make up to break up...our roads

Finally, the new stretch of road is done and commuters and pedestrians are now free to traverse the roads in safety. There was a time when as soon as the roads were completed and in fine shape, some one (company) would suddenly remember a pressing problem affecting a fixture or contraption directly under that lovely smooth surface of newly repaired road.
