DENNIS PETER CHASTANET R.I.P.

Dr Dennis Chastanet passed away at St Jude Hospital on February 20, 2008. Dr Chastanet was a qualified Eye Surgeon who enjoyed a very ambitious medical career. Dr Chastanet attended the Roman Catholic School and later continued his studies at St Mary’s College. He was a very keen student who loved sitting exams and passed his Cambridge Senior on two occasions,

14% Increase in stop-over Arrivals

Shot at Home

On Saturday, 16th of February 2008 about 1:20am, Eli Augustin of Babonneau, quarter of Castries, was shot in the abdomen by two masked men who knocked down his door. Effective Tuesday 19th February, 2008 all applications for vital records including Births, Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths for the districts of Micoud, Vieux Fort, Laborie, Choiseul and Soufriere are required to be processed at the 2nd District Court Office in the town of Vieux Fort, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Monster was Electrocuted

Investigations into the death of a man previously alleged to have been electrocuted on an animal farm in Augier Vieux Fort intensified on Wednesday following the autopsy report, which confirms previously aired comments of death by electrocution.
