The
7th Annual East Castries Western Union Community Football
Classic kicked off on Thursday 14th February 2008 at the Marchand
Grounds. In the opening encounter of the Tournament
a Group A match between Fort Charlotte/Congorians of the Morne/Dierre
Fort area had an impressive 2-1 win over the highly fancied
finalist of the recent Virgin Holidays Football Championship,

Repos Gets Busy for 17th Annual Road Relay Tomorrow
The
17th Annual Mon Repos Road Relay comes off this Sunday February
17th 2008. Sunday’s event which is organized
by the Mon Repos Youth and Sports Council will once again
be sponsored by Windward & Leeward Brewery Limited through
its brand Piton Malta. The International eight-leg relay will
see runners going through Mon Repos and its environs,

Independence Games This Sunday
The
St. Lucia Athletics Association will this Sunday 17th February,
2008 bring together 285 Track and Field Athletes from a combined
8 Clubs and 3 secondary schools affiliated to the local Double
“A”. The above total mentioned will converge
on the George Odlum National Stadium in Vieux Fort to participate
in the oldest event on the Independence Day,
