Crime on the decline

According to St Lucia Police, there have been apparent reductions in crime across the island as it relates to murder and sexual offences. A police report indicates that the number of murders have decreased from 39 to 26 while sexual offences reduced from 230 to 227. The confiscation of drugs from Marijuana and Cocaine has increased from 462 to 568.
