they emerged champions of the 2008 Marchand Football League
Championship sponsored by Virgin Holidays, which was played
at the famous Mindoo Phillip Park on Saturday afternoon.
With the score locked at the half time whistle of Referee
Timothy Joseph 0-0 and scores of supporters on hand,

was another big night out for the Rodney Heights Aquatic Center
and the St. Lucia Amateur Swimming Association on Saturday
when it held its annual awards ceremony at the Bay Gardens
Hotel Conference Room. The three hour long ceremony
saw in attendance St. Lucia’s Minister of Youth and
Sports Hon. Lenard Montoute,
National
Associations are reminded of the very important meeting scheduled
for Tuesday 12th February 2008 at the Department of Youth
and Sports situated at Barnard Hill commencing from 5:00 pm.
At this meeting Associations will be brought up to
date with the Ministry’s plans as it relates to this
year’s Sports Awards,
The
2008 District Two Primary School Soft Ball cricket Tournament
in conjunction with the St. Lucia National Cricket Association
and sponsored by Milo through its local agent in St.Lucia
Bryden and Partners bowls off today at the Vigie Playing field
commencing from 10:00. a.m. This year’s Tournament
will see seven teams,
