Disappointed in Virnet St Omer-Fontinelle

Constructive criticism is one thing, however, cronyism, insulting language and disrespect together can certainly help one judge individuals and personalities. When one evaluates the article written on The Star Newspaper of February 7, 2008 captioned “SOMETHING IS ROTTING AND IT SURE AIN’T DENMARK”, the content is most disconcerting,

THE CARIBBEAN COURT OF JUSTICE AND THE PRIVY COUNCIL

It is regrettable that there is so little trust in the Leader of the Opposition ( L.O.)that at this time when there should be unity on the question of the implementation of the of the Caribbean Court of Justice as a replacement of the Privy Council, the L.Os. statement is at variance with the Government's position on this issue. As everyone knows the disappointment is principally with the judges in Trinidada.

What we can do about oil

Oil and natural gas. Does St. Lucia have reserves that no one is exploring? Before writing off this question as a non starter, give me an ear. Off the north coast of Trinidad there is at least one oil rig that has been pumping oil and or gas for several years. The distance from Grenada to Trinidad, shore to shore, is about 96 miles. The half way mark is therefore 48 miles.
