About 12:30am on Saturday the 2nd of February 2008, two brothers namely: Claude John aka “Ross” of Barre St. Joseph and Lawrence Rawlins of the same address were involved in an altercation at Barre St. Joseph. As a result of the altercation, Claude John dealt his brother Lawrence John a few cutlass lashes on his arm.

Earthquake Confirmed

The Seismic Research Unit has confirmed an earthquake northeast of Saint Lucia. On Saturday night 2nd February at 9:04 local time, an earthquake occurred about just east of Saint Lucia. The preliminary location for the event is 13.95°N 60.86°W. The event was reported as felt in Saint Lucia. There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
