Office: Over the past few days, the Leader of the
Opposition, former Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Anthony has, on
more than one occasion, accused the Prime Minister, the Honourable
Stephenson King, of having wrongfully caused the State to
meet the cost of rental of his private residence.

(AFUWI) has paid tribute to the contribution to Caribbean
life made by Digicel, the region’s largest mobile telecommunications
operator. Digicel Founder and Chairman Denis O’Brien

Montessori
Science Fair
“Tell
me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve

On Thursday this week, students of the Montessori School from
Reception to Grade 5 showcased their talents at a special
science fair. On classrooms walls and tables, projects, from
the history of Dinosaurs to the explanation of Osmosis were
neatly displayed.

Fireman
out on Bail
The
St Lucia Fire Service is now taking a closer look at how it
arranges the sleeping quarters of male and female fire fighters
following the incident of an alleged rape of a 19 year-old
fire woman by a 29 year old fireman. Fire Chief Leslie
Fontenelle, earlier this week made it clear that such incidents
would not be tolerated under any circumstances by the department,

Yachtman
dies at sea
The
body of an American yachtsman who died at sea last Sunday
while sailing between St. Lucia and Martinique, is being flown
home today. Richard Mullen, a resident of Chicago,
was sailing to Martinique from the Rodney Bay Marina with
three other men on his yacht, ”Pegasus”, when
he suddenly fell ill and died. The vessel radioed the Marina
for assistance and a team comprising a dock attendant ,
