The
L.I.A.T. Debate
Almost
fifty years ago the St. Mary’s College Cadet Corps agreed
to join other Caribbean cadets at a summer holidays training
camp in Barbados, an island a mere hundred miles to the east-
south-east of St. Lucia. I had never traveled outside
St.Lucia and certainly had not been on an aircraft except,
perhaps in my imagination,
Largest
ever SLHTA audience descends upon Sandals Grande for their
44th Annual General Meeting
January
30, 2008 witnessed the largest attendance to any SLHTA meeting
ever held on the island. The event took place at
the Sandals Grande Conference Centre before a crowd of no
less than 350 persons. There must have been a reason for this
enormous turnout and one must certainly question the rationale.

Jn
Pierre and St Omer two peas in a pod immersed in fantasy and
ignorance
It
is really an insult to the intelligence of ordinary St Lucians

who occupied the valuable space of the Star Newspaper of January
20, 2008, In reference to Jadia JnPierre I can only imagine,

of this Island. It should be clear to the Party as
if they did not know, that the Taiwawnese are here on the
invitation and with the consent of the Government of Saint
Lucia.
Richard
Frederick Introduces 500 Families To The Middle Class
These
days when you hear the names Richard Fredrick, Guy Mayers,
Dr Ulric Mondesir, Jeannine Compton, Stevenson King, we associate
it with good things to come, that goes with out saying. These
people have dedicated their lives to establishing a better
St. Lucia for us all. Out of the many names that I could attest
to, really one name stands out the most as far as making a
big difference,
Could
Obama and Clinton create a window of opportunity for the Republican
Party?
Both
Clinton and Obama are affected by their own success and unless
a prudent decision is arrived at, a very unreal situation
could emerge. Obama is charismatic, intelligent and
understands what America needs at this moment at a time when
the white population has been so disillusioned by the Bush
Administration along with the Washington crowd that an unusual
window of opportunity has been created,
