Israelites had to sojourn in the wilderness for the period
of forty days, but due to their disobedience to God their
stay was extended to forty years. Joshua 5:6 “For
the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness,
till all the people that were men of war, which came out of
Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of
the LORD:

Answer. -- Universally, the Prophets are of two kinds. One
are the independent Prophets Who are followed; the other kind
are not independent and are themselves followers.
The independent Prophets are the lawgivers and the founders
of a new cycle. Through Their appearance the world puts on
