On 13th September 2008, the Indigenous People (Bethechilokono) of Saint Lucia will have much to celebrate as they join five hundred million (500 million) counterparts world-wide in the observance of the first anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
