Beaubrun Set the Records Straight in Beijing
It
was the world stage of Swimming when St.Lucia Danielle Beaubrun
stepped up to the Lane 6 starting blocks in Heat # 2 of the
Women’s 100 metres Breaststroke at the Beijing Olympics
to swim a watershed race of her career. Going into
that Heat with a time of 1:15.14, Danielle was placed fourth
behind Yekaterina Sadovnik of Kazakstan, Valeria Silva of
Peru,

Minister Meets Olympians in Beijing
St.
Lucia Minister for Youth and Sports Lenard Montoute presently
in Beijing visited the Games village on Sunday 10th August,
2008 accompanied by his wife Barbara Montoute where he addressed
the St.Lucia contingent participating at the games.

he had seen to date,
