be grand as hundreds have registered to take on the challenge
as they seek to better their last performance, with walkers
from all over the country. Commencing at 6.30 am

Association Salutes Du Boulay’s Bottling for 25 Years
There
was no cheer leading group nor fireworks at the end, but
for those who made it to the Almond Smugglers Hotel on Monday
afternoon for the official opening of the 25th Coco - Cola
ITF sanctioned Junior Tennis Tournament must admit no organization
on the island have for 25 unbroken years continued to shine
in the World of Tennis the way Du Boulay Bottling Company
does.
Persistent
Rain plays havoc
With
well over 200 Junior Tennis players on the island representing
a number of countries at this year’s 25th staging of
the 2008 Coco- Cola ITF sanctioned Junior Tennis Tournament,
similar to last year persistent rain again played
havoc on the 2nd day at the St. Lucia Racket Club as all doubles
matches were cancelled by the organizers.
Two
Junior Athletes to Beijing
Their
dream is to compete at the Olympics and on this occasion Sandisha
Antoine representing track and field, and Jedaiah
Pierre table tennis are two proud St. Lucian athletes selected
to attend an Olympic Youth Camp taking place during the Games
in Beijing, China from the 8th to 24 August 2008. The two
outstanding and aspiring athletes were recognized,
