tragic killing of British doctor, Catherine Mullany, and the
serious injury to her husband, Ben, as they honeymooned at
a hotel. At the time of writing Ben Mullany is critically
ill in intensive care. The incident was widely reported internationally
and became a topic for discussion on many Internet “chat”
websites.

Assistance by the Government of Saint Lucia
Government
has increased the level of public assistance to poor persons
in the community by $1.6 million. The amount formally
allocated was the sum of $3.3 million annually, but this has
been increased to $4.9 million. This decision was made in
the light of increasing prices of food, which is affecting
countries all over the world and in which poor persons are
particularly vulnerable. 
How
the Legal System operates after an accident

Department which has a branch in every police department in
St. Lucia. The department concentrates on managing
