LIME Congratulates Dynamic Kids

LIME has joined carnival organizers and fans in congratulating Dynamic Kids, proud winners of the ‘Band of the Year’ and ‘Queen of the Band’ titles in this year’s Junior Carnival pageant. Rituals Kiddies Carnival Band, also sponsored by LIME, took third place in Band of the Year.
Dynamic Kids beat out seven bands for the top spots, including Just Us Kids. This is the second consecutive year they have won the Band of the Year title. This year they prevailed with their glorious depiction of the famous historical ‘Journey to El Dorado .’ Jada Francis repeated as Queen of the Bands with her depiction of ‘Hummingbird.’ They also placed second in the King of the Bands category.
LIME is a co-sponsor of Dynamic Kids along with Gulfcom/One Caribbean Weather, and over the past two years, has partnered with the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary to provide support to the band which is organized by the school. The band is made up primarily of students of Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary.

Mas Action, another LIME-sponsored carnival band, assisted Dynamic Kids with their costume designs.
Speaking on behalf of the company, LIME Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Laurencia Cadette praised both the Dynamic Kids members and the band leader, former vice-principal Beverly Dieudonne, for their outstanding achievements.
“We’re extremely proud of Dynamic Kids and the entire school who, once again, have shown the remarkable talent that Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary can produce. Ms Dieudonne and her fellow teachers worked very hard preparing the students and, with the kind help of Mas Action, they’ve done a wonderful job. Everyone involved is deserving of praise for helping to make Junior Carnival 2010 a huge success.”
President of Lorac Communications and the man behind WSEE and One Caribbean Weather, Tony Marchand visited Saint Lucia for Junior Carnival and was thrilled by the spectacle. He found the event so enjoyable he has already pledged his company’s support for next year’s pageant.
