Services Robert Fevrier presented the cheque
to the head of the Nobel Laureate Week Committee
Governor General Dame Pearlette Louisy. Mr.
Fevrier noted that the Bank has over the years
clearly positioned itself as a patron of arts
in St. Lucia. “1st National Bank recognizing
the importance of excellence has been a staple
sponsor of Nobel laureate Week. We see this
as a week of inspiration and a call to excellence
for all. We are indeed proud as an indigenous
institution of the achievements of our people
wherever they may be; in particular our two
Nobel Laureates Sir Arthur Lewis and Hon.
Derek Walcott. The Bank’s support of
the Arts in St. Lucia is testament to our
support of our people, always giving them
the opportunity to showcase their talents,
build on their self confidence and reach for
greatness that which is excellence”,
noted Fevrier
