BEN ALCIDE
Musical Ministries BENEFIT CONCERT
Benedict
“Ben” Alcide has been in the ministry
of Gospel music for over 25 years. A member
of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Ben has
traveled overseas bringing his musical talent
to many church congregations and events. He
is a singer and song writer. His latest album
titled” Will I Be Ready” features
six original songs. In early January the Ben
Alcide Musical Ministries was planning a concert
under the banner “Embracing the Future”
featuring young artists. When the Haiti earthquake
struck, the plans changed to direct the concert
in aid of Haiti. Ben says “ The Bible
states we should weep with those who weep and
rejoice with those who rejoice, so it was a
very natural thing to want to direct our efforts
to helping our brothers and sisters in Haiti
instead. I see this as my ministries’s
contribution to this disaster and I am expecting
strong support from the public”. This
weekend, on Sunday February 21st, in collaboration
with various young and upcoming Gospel Artists,
Ben Alcide will be hosting a FREE Gospel Benefit
Concert in aid of Haiti. While the concert is
free, patrons should bring along a generous
offering. There will be seasoned artists as
well as student groups and church groups comprising
of Duets, Trios, Quartets and singles plus the
Maranatha SDA Church and the Marisule SDA Church
Choirs. All monies collected will go to Haiti
to aid in the rebuilding effort.
Come and support, bring a friend to have an
enjoyable evening of musical praise while helping
Haiti.Place: Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist
Church
