THE Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort and the Gros Islet Playing Field will come alive this evening with two double headers as the Super League continues on Day 7.

At the PMG from 6.00 p.m. newly crowned St.Lucia Football Association Fantasy Champions Micoud will play Laborie. Desruisseaux comes up against Roseau Valley, both teams loss their opening encounters last week will want nothing less than victory this evening.

At the GIPF from 6.00 p.m. Central Castries plays Choiseul, while home team Gros Islet with three points from their two matches played thus far will take on South Castries at 8.00 p.m.

Last Sunday at the La Fargue Playing Field there were wins for La Clery and Gros Islet, while at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds Vieux Fort North and Mon Repos were runaway winners in Group 1.

At the La Fargue Playing Field under what can best be described as humid conditions La Clery continued their winning ways when they defeated South Castries 1 – 0 to top Group 3 with 6 points. No.11 Mac Guyver Raymond’s right foot strike was enough to give his team the victory in a match that really never took off as both teams played a similar brand of football on the day on a surface that proved difficult for the players to control the ball and make decent passes.

Gros Islet had to wait up until the 80th minute to double the score line when No.7 AramisLorde hit one past the Choiseul custodian to his right, then 10 minutes later No.9 Troy Greenidge made it 3 – 0 to give the defending team all three points.
